highlight film

There is such a thing as the miracle fruit which makes sour foods taste sweet. One professor of mine, not in the field of biology, suggested that this was a nifty evolutionary trick. Since plants depend on their sugary taste to spread out in reproduction (people like to eat sugary things), this plant can get the benefit of an ersatz sugariness, without all the energy it takes to make genuine sugar.
